I am currently in india,i got 10 year visitor visa in 2007, i visited USA in december 2007 and applied for H1-B visa. I went back to india in Feb 2008. My H1-B got approved in May 2008,it showed against the recipet number in the USCIS website . I did not get any I-797 yet as of today. The company that did my H1-B didnot get back to me. Now i am in india and have started pursuing studying further and due to family reasons have no intentions of taking H1-B visa, but i need to come to usa to visit my family for month or so in march 2009. I want to know if there can be any problem over me traveling on my B2 whereas i have approved H1-B.Is my B2 valid? Didn't get H1-B stamped on PP? Can i be stopped at port of entry? What documents should i carry to show that i am there just for visit?
