My daughter was born in USA on our earlier B2 visa in 2000 & thus she is a citizen of US (her age is now 11). At the renewal interview for B2 visa, they were not convinced and insisted that it was a planned trip to have a baby in US & US visa was not renewed for our family of three. We also submitted no dues from the hospital stating that all bills were cleared by us. This entire trip was being financed by my own funds however we had also attached a letter of sponsorship from my cousin who is working in US on H1 for the past many years. I have assets of three million dollars in India and have no intention of settling in US. However since my daughter is a US citizen and wants to visit her country it is imperative that we get a B2 visa or suggest any other category under which we can apply
