Q.

Mom has a B1 visa, but dad doesn't

Hello madam,

I am planning to invite my parents to the US for a few months visit. My mom already has a B1 visa for 10 years as she frequently visits USA on her University conference meetings, but my dad haven't been here before. Now my question is do I have to sponsor B2 (visitor visa) for both my mom and dad or if I sponsor B2 just for my dad and on approval can both of them show my invite letter at the port of entry and enter into the US; mom with her existing B1 and dad with his new B2?

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Kapil
