I am a Pakistani citizen, currently working for a computer Networking company in San Jose.

A few months back, my Father passed away back home, and being the only son, I want to take care of my Mother as much as I can. Given her health, and also having no reliable relatives back home, I wish to keep my mother with me while I work here. She is currently in US, with me, on a visit visa. However she cannot stay beyond december of this year...which would complete her 6 months in US.

Being aware of the slim provisions in Law for my case, What I would like to know is how I can make this possible. whether or not I can pursue a humanitory appeal, and whether an immigration attorney would assist me with that.

Any careful and credible advice would be highly appreciated.
