Question on Re-Entry in US on B2 visa after a small gap

My mother in law (56 year old) has a B2 visa (10 year multiple entry), she entered US for the first time on 02 Dec 2009 and got an I-94 for 6 months, she left back for India on 24 May 2010.

1) My wife has a medical procedure on 23 Sept 2010 and we want to call my mother in law to US again for 6 -8 weeks during that time. Will she have some problem at the Port of Entry (POE) as she stayed around for 5 months and 22 days in US and then 4 months in India.

2) Is there some documentation (from our doctor) that we can send her which she can present to the officer at POE, which shows that her visit is genuine and for helping her daughter.

3) We can delay the medical procedure for 1-2 weeks if required, but not beyond that.
