My mother's I-539 got denied. The reason we asked for extension was for a family reunion, that was taking place in mid June her visa would have expired on June 09. But, recently she started to have eye problem and the eye doctor suggested surgery which is scheduled for Aug 3/10. But now we just learned about the I-539 denial today June 14/10.
1. What do you suggest I should do?
2. Could I ask for reopen with this new doctor document.
3. I am also planning to apply for a green card for her, would this be impacted?
