Q.

b2 visa after visa waiver

I am a UK citizen, and have been in the US from Nov '09, leaving May '10. I have travelled back to the UK for 2 one week periods during this time, and have not broken the 90 day visa waiver rule. I would like to come back to the US, but am concerned immigration will not let me through (was hassled by an officer on my last entry). I have more than adequate finances to support my stay in the US (high net worth). Should I apply for a B2 visa, or can I be rejected as I've already spent a lot of time in the US?
