Q.

Filed I-130, parent in US as a vistor, can I file I-485?

Hi! I'm a US citizen and recently filed I-130 for my mom who is currently visiting me in the US. At the time I filed I-130 I didn't realize that I can file I-485 concurrently. Can I still file for adjustment of status if her I-130 is not approved yet? If I can't, can I file for extension of her stay based on the pending I-130 or she has to leave the country? Thank you.
