Q.

Birth Certificates for I 485 filing!

My PD is 01-FEB-11 (EB2-India) . But seems the dates are moving pretty fast these days ,so just to prepare myself .

Saw I 485 filing needs Birth Certificate and found 2 issues with that.

1)I don’t have one birth certificate .
My options:
Will getting a Birth Certificate based on the passport DOB from Indian Consulate in Chicago be enough .
I can also try getting affidavits from my parents .

2)My wife has a different birth date on passport & actual date of birth .
My options:
Again will getting a Birth Certificate based on the passport DOB from Indian Consulate in Chicago be good enough for filing I 485.
I can also try getting affidavits from my parents .
